* We have chosen the slogan:
Belief comes first. Belief came first
for us when we started Capital
Bank Botswana in 2008. Our
knowledge, experience and
expertise were crucial, but above
all it was belief that propelled us
forward.

* This journey began in 1995
when the bank was founded
in Malawi, where it was known
as First Merchant Bank. Since
then the group has grown to
offer a comprehensive range of
business and personal banking
products, attained a listing on
the Malawi Stock Exchange and
currently employs over 1 800
staff who service a client base of
approximately 840 000.

*It is this same belief that inspires us
to continue seeking solutions that
will enable the Group’s nearly one
million customers to achieve their
extraordinary.
