Q Can you give us a brief background
of yourself and academic achievements
?
I am one of the female military aircraft pilots
in Botswana. I hold a Commercial Pilot's Licence
from the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana and
also won a scholarship of Commercial Drone Pilot
Licence with UAV Industries in South Africa.

I have a Master of Science degree in Strategic
Management from the University of Derby
with a focus on Aviation Safety, a Bachelor of
Education (Science ) majoring in mathematics from
University of Botswana , A post graduate certificate
in Enterprise Risk Management and a certificate in
Finance for Non Finance managers both from Botswana
Accountancy College. I am a qualified acreditated
trainer by Botswana Qualifications Authority - BQA.

I have won numerous awards including the Botswana
Youth Awards Best Female of the Year 2017, The 80th
British High Commission Commonwealth Point of Light
Award 2018. I have just been nominated for the Pride of
Africa Asia Awards - African Woman of the Year Award
2019

Q Not many women are enthusiastic about
joining the army, more so flying for BDF. What
influenced you to study and become a pilot ?
When I was growing up l used to see planes passing over
house from an early young age I knew I was born to fly.

Q. Had that vision of becoming a pilot not
materialized, what were the alternatives?

I wanted to be an Entrepreneur
